We found this place to be charming and an excellent value! The location allows easy walking access to the water and downtown La Jolla. We spent a four day weekend in this hide-away in the heart of La Jolla, about a half block from the ocean. The inn is in a residential neighborhood and sits back from the street, hidden and quiet. This was one of the best short vacations we ever had. The cottage was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed including privacy. At night you can smell the sea air! Found this accomodation in Trip. It was everything it said it was. Get away from the boring standard accomodation and stay in an authentic wooden shack. Accomodation was all you need (although it could do with some basic DIY). Fantastic location. We were going to explore San Diego but never made it out of La Jolla. more

We had the best time at the Redwood Hollow Cottages in La Jolla, California. The hospitality was great and we were treated quite well.
