The booking process was simple and staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. There is a train track very close to the hotel, though we did not hear a thing when indoors. I have stayed at the West in Carlsbad twice for business and I LOVE IT. There is not much to complain about, this actually gets really picky now: Location between I-5 and the train tracks is not ideal, but it guarantees quick access to the freeway.
