We stayed at La Quinta from July 17-21. The hotel is great for families & those traveling with pets. The back of the hotel faces I-5, as do the other hotels on this street, but for us it wasn't a problem. My family and I just got back from LegoLand and stayed at La Quintana. We absolutely loved it! The room was very clean and smelled of fresh, clean linens. The breakfast was great and the pool was also very nice. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone. If you want clean, this is definately the place to stay. more

This hotel was adequate for the price. Rooms can be very pricey in Carlsbad. Situated close to the beach and major shopping, highways. Spent first two nights of our trip at la quinta, having stayed across the road last year, the rooms are very clean ,spacious and have comfortable beds. Nice suite at a reasonable price, but noisy. We weren't even on the side facing the highway, and it was noisy. Pets allowed, though no place to walk the dog. more
