Yes it's a bog standard Marriott but you know what you are getting and when you just arrive after a 10 hour flight and it's 2am body clock but you have to try to stay awake until at least 9am - the Marriott was excellent. Nice and quiet, big room, access to the concierge lounge, swimming pool, just what was needed... more

I spent a single night here before the Memorial Day weekend. Although the hotel itself was typical for an airport Marriott (which is usually quite good), the service I received was far better than I had expected. The shuttle from the airport was prompt and friendly - the driver handed me an ice cold bottle of water as I boarded.... more

We enjoy staying at the Marriott Airport in Phoenix once a year for the last five years. The last time we were there in April 08 we learned to ask for a room on the opposite side of the hotel from the highway. Our room faced the highway and the airport in the distance. The traffic noise was loud and... more

Hotel location was very convenient. Pool was heated and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and in good shape. Unfortunately, during our stay, the vending machines on all floors werent fully stocked: no bottled water! arghh! more

Recently spent one night here prior to flying out from Sky Harbor Airport. We had stayed here two years ago for three nights and loved it. Unfortunately this experience wasn't as great. Not bad, but nothing exceptional. On the first stay the staff went out of their way to be friendly but this time not so. I'm wondering if it... more

Stayed two nights at this Marriott. The staff is friendly enough. The rooms are pleasant, quiet and clean with flatscreen tv, blonde wood furnishings... typical modern Marriott decor. The view is of the highway on one side and the neighborhood on the otherside (nothing spectacular). You'll need a car if you stay here. There is nothing near here that you... more

Stayed one night in November 2007 during a business trip to Phoenix. The Marriott is convenient to PHX airport without being noisy and is an attractive property. The rooms are Marriotteque, which I consider a plus when traveling on business. My elite membership gave me access to the Executive Lounge, which was also very nice. My only complaint is that... more

I stay here routinely for business in PHX. The staff is great, both at the front desk and the concierge lounge, but the property is in DIRE need of investment. Fitness center is barely the size of a single room on the ground floor, the "business center" is two pay-per use computers, and the rooms are getting run-down. I stay... more

Centralized for those who want to be near the airport to catch an early flight. Lobby area, nicely presented. Room - big enough to feel comfortable with access to internet for $9.95, bed is quite comfortable for a good night sleep and walls thick enough not to hear your next door neighbor. Bathrooms are big enough with assortment of shampoo,... more

This is standard Marriott fare, near the airport, convenient for those of us with an early morning flight. There is no other reason why you should stay in this hotel. The area is just OK - there is some shopping and dining about a mile down the street, but nothing spectacular. If you get too close to the airport, the... more
