We arrived in Buenos Aires the week leading up to Easter, unfortunately all our hotel choices were booked. We finally booked in 725 Hotel in the heart of the city. The hotel is just another big American Style hotel, which some people may prefer? It's clean, people are professional and breakfast is good. However if you're like me and prefer... more

Although the hotel states a five star status for those of you who have stayed at a five start hotel you will definitely realize that 725 is not a five star hotel. Don't get me wrong it's not a bad hotel maybe a bit above average at best. The rooms and bathroom were okay, there are no drawers for you... more

This hotel is a fantastic find for the price! Its very modern (recently remodeled) and hip. The rooms are decent sized and very clean. The minibar was FREE - beer, soda, water - a nice added extra when used to paying $8 for a bottle of water out of a minibar. The concierge was very helpful and we enjoyed several... more

The wifi is hit and miss - hotel is nice but they don't pay attention to the details Old towels on the roof, dirty areas etc. but the main problem is that between floors are OLD WOOD floors - you hear everythign from the person above you since there is no carpet. And if you are wearign hard shoes or... more

I stayed at the 725 for 5 nights last week. It is a very modern hotel with a great old feel. The staff was really great and the pool is fabulous. there is free internet and the phone rates for local calls are reasonable, although you can do much better walking to one of the local locutorios. The mini bar... more

After two weeks at the BoBo Hotel in the Palermo district of Buenos Aires, my girlfriend and I ended up here our last night in the city. The large and modern rooms were nice, but seemed a little cold and impersonal. I would not have wanted to stay here for too long. If you are only making a quick trip... more

In preparation for my first visit to Buenos Aires, I searched through different websites for hotels which would cater to the modern traveler. The 725 Continental proved to be the establishment I was trying to locate. Initially, the streets surrounding and the location of the hotel might seem confusing, but once you get your bearings straight, you'd be thankful that... more

Rooms are modern and clean. Bathroom and shower facilities are luxurious. There is some street noise, but the level is minimal. Breakfast is fabulous. Food at the bar was excellent. The service from staff was outstanding. English was spoken by the staff. Central location but as always be vigilant in these areas. more

Location is OK, but that's where the good news ends. Rooms are small, furniture is of Franciscan simplicity, bathroom is tiny, elevators DID NOT WORK (great if climbing 8 flights of stairs is part of your daily exercise routine, but otherwise...), fitness center was inaccesible (may be that's why they did not fix the elevators?), price is high for the... more

My wife and I spent a wonderful week in Buenos Aires, March 2 thru March 9, 2007 and stayed at the 725 which we enjoyed very much. The only glitch when we checked into our room was the bathroom which we found was a tad too small, but we were quickly switched to another room which was very adequate, indeed!... more
