We stayed here recently, before and after Patagonia. We found our room, corridor carpets a little run down, but on the whole felt at home here. Initially the breakfasts were very basic, we returned after a week and there was an improvement. Be warned if you like a good cup of tea, we never got one in Argentina, you'll be... more

For the money rubbish - much better available for cheaper. Beds very small, staff unhelpful. more

The location is an excellent and unbeatable location close to recoleta (in a neighborhood called retiro) but the hotel really needs an update. Paint is falling and the room is at most a 2 star. Problem is that it seems like this hotel has not had a refurbished in a long time and is part of a small Argentine chain.... more

I stayed here for 8 nights in November 2005 and was totally pleased with the location, staff and rooms. The breakfasts were good continental style and front desk were very helpful with directions and day trips and most spoke excellent English. It is close to many attractions, a big leafy park, shopping etc. A little grocery store across the street,... more

As for the service, the staff is not very attentive and the breakfast is quite bad. As for the facilities, it could be better: the white of the room has turned gray and the the bathroom is very old. If you can, pay an extra US$ 20 per day and stay somewhere better. more

The good: Excellent location for viewing Buenos Aires, as stated by other posters. Very close to shopping (Florida street) and lovely park close by. Wonderful, friendly staff go out of their way to help you. Hotel has good amenities: suites include kitchenette with microwave oven, refrigerator, cabinets, basic dishes, table for eating, and a small stove. Suites also include cabinet... more

The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of the main attractions of central BA and on a relatively quiet, leafy road, with a convenient supermarket across the road and an Indian restaurant next door. The downside was the studio itself and the noise within the hotel. We requested a quiet room, having read reviews of the potential noise from... more

We went off to Argentina over Christmas and New Years, and stayed in BA for the beginning and end of the trip, both times at Loi Suites Arenales. You plan things from so far away, that you wonder what you will find when you arrive. But Loi Suites Arenales was the perfect jumping off point for us - walking distance... more

I stayed here with my wife for a week in total (interspersed with other trips) in April 2006 and we could not recommend this hotel enough. The accomodation is fine; self-catering units that are clean, functional and decently sized. The neighbourhood is great and definitely quieter than the other Loisutes Hotels that we saw. Despite being quiet, it is only... more

There are 2 LoiSuites, we stayed in the Arenales one. Choice of studio& 1 bedroom appartments. We had the studio which according to our friend was a better choice than the 1 bedroom as felt more spacious. Spotlessly clean, decent small kitchen area sufficient for cooking a basic meal. Reception staff helpful and friendly. They provided free mobile phone rental... more
