Having stayed in many other five star hotels around Latin America this one was definitely the most dissappointing. The check in person was bored, and acted like we were interrupting him. The room was tired and in need of updating. The linen felt old and well used. The breakfast was ok, but not great. You have to pay to use... more

The InterContinental is first class starting from the reservation process and all the way throughout your stay. My stay was two fold: business and personal. On the business side I was completely impressed when I walked into their 5 star lobby. The meeting space was perfect for our business purposes and the service is impeccable. The outlets provide premier food... more

This was my second time to the hotel. My first was business related, this trip was a trip with some girlfriends strictly for fun. My stay was even more enjoyable at the hotel. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The property is gorgeous and the food is amazing. If you go to Buenos Aires, you must stay at this... more

Check in was very fast, however rooms are far from great. Internet is charged by a third party concession, absurd for suchhotel and per night prices. Food is okay, area not so comfy at night, somehow no taxis wait for passengers like any major hotel, the staff will call some taxi, they get a kickback, plenty American Airlines employees stay... more

We stayed here as part of a pre-cruise package with Princess, and I must admit I was a little concerned after reading some of the comments on this site. However I must report that our experience was nothing but positive. Check in went smoothly with pleasant friendly staff and our room on the 15th floor was great with wonderful city views. The room... more

Like most IC properties, the one in Buenos Aires offered an excellent experience overall. My friend and I stayed on the club level, on the 18th floor, which had an amazing view of the city, including a view of the Río de la Plata. I enjoyed the personalized service and attention. The beds were amazingly comfortable. I disliked the pool... more

Booked this hotel based on tripadvisor reviews, hotel website and location. When I got to the room it looked nothing like the pictures on the website. The room was old, shabby, musty, and smelled like smoke (booked non-smoking). When I went back to the lobby to ask for another, non-smoking, room they said the only option was to upgrade. So,... more

We stayed three nights at the Intercontinental Buenos Aires, and really enjoyed our stay. The room is nice, the bed is very comfortable, and the staff are helpful and speak excellent English as you would expect at an Intercontinental. But beware of the bottled water - $13 for 1.5 litres! Of all the hotels we stayed at in South America,... more

For the second year in a row my husband and I took a trip down to BA and stayed at the InterContinental. At check in we upgraded to the club level. Where we enjoyed breath taking views of the city for breakfast and enjoyed evening cocktails and snacks before dinner. The Sunday Brunch is a must try, what a great... more
