This is an older hotel in Altoona, and it is showing its age. The rugs are wearing out, the walls could use a new coat of paint, and the furniture could use new furniture. My husband and I joined eleven other family members for a stay at the Hampton Inn in Altoona. The front desk, housekeeping and breakfast staff were excellent. Our bed was extremely comfortable and our room immaculately clean. We all enjoyed the pool and breakfasts. We would definiltely return. more

Like another of the reviewers, we stay here when attending Penn State Football games. The rooms are nice and very clean, but we really like the beds - very comfortable.
