I stayed at the Pekin Hotel for 2 nights last week, The reason for choosing this hotel was its proximity to the Satire Theatre, which is just across the street. I arrived there early, but was able to check in early (about 9 am, instead of 2 pm which is their check in time). The receptionists were very kind when... more

My first time in Moscow and I enjoyed staying a full week in Hotel Peking, which is centrally located (2-3 stops to Kremlin and the Red Square). Some other 5 star hotel is located close by, but I bet the prices differ. The receptionists could do a better job, they were simply lazy and I always got my questions answered... more

The room was fine and the bed was comfortable. That is the only positive bit! The rest was pretty awful. The staff at the reception did not want to serve you and clearly did not want to be there (it felt like the Soviet Union from 30 years ago). The breakfast was dreadful - noisy, very small dining room and... more

I was here Sept 2007. The rooms are fine. The overall tidness of the hotel is very good. Its the staff. Their ability to rip you off is amazing. I had a fax from them confirming the price with a reservation number & two days in they just hiked the price. The food is awful, as others have mentioned on... more

This hotel is equipped with large comfortable rooms, near a metro station and only three stops away from the Kremlin. You could walk also walk the distance in about 30 minutes. Our room was at the back and was fairly quiet even with open windows (the a/c would send fresh air directly on us during the night and was hard... more

There is a definite lack of hotel rooms in Moscow these days. It does not help that a number of the larger hotels are closed for renovation. This makes it is extremely difficult to find a decent priced hotel in the center of the city. The Peking is one exception to this. I paid about $200 a night for my... more

I have stayed in the Hotel Peking in Fall 2006. Nothing to complain abou. The bathroom was a four star standard. Everything was clean and freshly renovated. For 160 Euros per night a very good deal for Moscow. The casino and a nice cafe is in the basement. more

I slept one night in that hotel peking, because is the only one they found for me, at a price below 300 euros, all the 100-200 euros hotels were full aparently. The hotel is old, very old. The room was large, but everything inside had a dirty look because the age, something you almost never found in any western hotel.... more
