four generations of my family have been visiting the Monaco for over 25 years, every summer for two weeks. no, it is not beautifully furnished. but every morning i wake up to the sound of waves crashing, and sit out on the balcony & have my coffee. the view is the best i have ever seen on the east coast.... more

I thouroughly enjoyed the review from the TripAdvisor User in Newtown, CT who stayed at the Monaco Motel and is now advising people to "STAY AWAY FROM THIS DUMP".For the last four years, my family and I have stayed at the Monaco Motel for a week each summer. We had to attend a wedding in Atlantic City and were forced to stay at the Monaco Motel because it was selected sight-unseen by the groom. He found it on the internet and selected it based on price and water view. He couldn;t apologize enough after we arrived. Just pulling into the place you can tell it is about 30... more
