I stayed in the Moxa during the summer but it was still a business trip to Bucharest. The hotel was very nice decorated and perfect from my 2 nights stay. Free wireless in the lobby and in the rooms was great. The hotel was full when I stayed but I still received full attention from the stuff. Went down for... more

So just what is a 'boutique' hotel. Does haviing 2 TVs in your room qualify - but only one remote control so that as you lie in bed changing channels on one the other TV starts up too? Moxa is a reasonable price, for Bucharest, and the rooms are well equipped and the staff friendly. It has private parking right... more

The Hotel Moxa was an absolutely great hotel. It's located within walking distance to the metro and many great restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful. The rooms are small but clean. I will stay here again if I am ever in Bucharest. more

I stay in a lot of hotels all around Europe because of my job, so they all tend to roll into one. BUT THIS HOTEL REALLY STANDS OUT! It is an absolute gem. A bit further from the centre, but small, friendly and unique. The rooms are small but very comfortable, with gorgeous big bathrooms and amazing shower. The staff... more

I stayed here for 2 nights in June 08. Hotel is well located. Close to the city centre. It is recommeded that you hire a car while in Bucarest. It is not a city made for walking outside the dilapidated city centre. Rooms are modern, good flat screens in every room, good toilettes, well appointed and elegant deco in the... more

I was able to book 3 nights at the Moxa with the weekend special the hotel website offered and ended up paying less than the regular price for one night. The hotel's location is a ten to fifteen minute walk from most sights, though I didn't find Bucharest offered many sights. Our double room was quiet and somewhat small but... more

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel over a weekend. Room was nice, quiet, well furnished and clean. Ours was on the end and so a good size. Other rooms in the hotel seemed a lot smaller from what we could see. Breakfast was not great for what we paid per night and on Sunday all the tables were dirty... more

Hotel is nice. Staff is nice. Breakfast is good and location very good. Rooms are clean with full amenities and wireless internet. Only drawback is the annoying music and the NONSTOP massive widescreen TV in the lobby which in the evening is put on Israeli channels and watched by the owner of the hotel. Unless you know hebrew you gotta... more

My boyfriend and I recently visited Bucharest and stayed at Hotel Moxa for 5 nights. Our room was furnished very nicely, was clean and we had more than enough space. The hotel breakfast was excellent and the staff was extremely helpful in answering our questions and giving us information about places to go in Bucharest. This hotel is very convenient... more
