Just got back from a four-night stay in Punta at the Hotel Alhambra and had a wonderful stay. We just got back a few days ago from spending our 19th anniversary at Hotel alhambra. Angel got us a room even though it said it was full on the internet. Punta del Este is a pricey beach area to visit, but Hotel Alhambra offers a comfortable stay for a reasonable price. I paid about $75 Cdn.
