If you can stay anywhere else, then do so. Its a $60 p/n motel masquerading as a $120 p/n hotel. The rooms are dark, small and smelly, the location looks great on the website, but its very noisy. What horrible staff and what a run down place! They need to knock it down and start over. The pub next door was quite noisy all night and the drunkards were everywhere. The food was revolting and the staff should be ashamed! more

We stayed at The Continental for 2 nights over the weekend. I agree with previous reveiws that the hotel is extremely run down. The hotel is supposed to be graded 4 star, No way, The ocean room furnishings were standard, but the overall look of the hotel is very run down, The bedrooms are in separate blocks from the main building and the brochure does not give that impression. Also take fly spray with you!!! more
