Amazingly this place was in Lonely Planet{s "also recommended" section for Auckland but it really dosen´t deserve to be. It was filthy, noisy, and the reception staff really didn´t seem to care that that was the case. I regret not looking at the other reviews on Trip Advisor before arriving at this place late at night in May. The entire experience was awful, the staff were rude, the kitchen was so filthy I didn't even want to touch the counters, the bathrooms were in a similar state.
