I had read the fairly mixed reports on this hotel so was not quite sure what to expect. I needn't have worried. Without a doubt this is the best Hotel experience I have ever had in my 60+ years. Firstly, the building and renovation works are complete, so absolutely no noise from that. The staff were all magnificent, efficient, friendly... more

We needed a one night in stay in Sydney to attend a concert at the Entertainment Centre. Holiday Inn Darling Harbour could not have been any closer to the venue and is very handily located for other activities in and around Darling Harbour and Chinatown. I believe the hotel has undergone a recent renovation and had additional floor(s) added. Starting... more

Spent four nights at the hotel at the start of our Australian holiday. We found the hotel to be in an ideal location easy access to local transport , bus , monorail , chinatown and 5 -10 minute walk to Darling Harbour. Paddys Market is at the end of the road. The hotel room we had was very nice, large... more

Stayed in the Executive Room on a high floor overlooking the Sydney Entertainment Centre and Gardens. I loved this hotel, everything about it. Lovely lighting and decor, very comfortable bed - and their hot chocolate is heavenly! I would definitely stay here again. It was very peaceful, central and well serviced! more

I stay at this hotel regularly for business and pleasure. It is in a great location, right next to Chinatown, across the road from the Sydney Entertainment Centre and a short walk from Darling Harbour. They have recently renovated their bar/bistro and have also started to upgrade rooms. While it is not in the most glamorous part of the city... more

i stayed only one night in this hotel in april 2008 at the end of our australian trip. The hotel is located nearby china town. I must say, that it was very noisy. We had a room at the back of the hotel and we heard the airconditioning machines from the buildings across the street. When you have a room... more

The hotel was nicer than expected. We were given a good size room for the two of us and a baby. They provided the portable cot for free and when we put the cot by the window, there was still enough space for the baby to play on the floor. The TV remote has some problems and ABC channel appears... more

A high standard hotel in an excellent location. A short walk from Darling Harbour with plenty of attractions and places to eat and drink. We had a large room which catered very well for 3 adults. The breakfast was delicious, as was the meal we had at the hotel. Would definitely return here. more

We stayed for two nights before heading for the outback. Room was comfortable and decent size. Nicely located to see the lower CBD and Darling Harbour. Good breakfast buffet. Monorail stopped nearby and it was a short walk to Darling Harbour, China Town and Paddy's Market. Downside was the internet access was high speed CAT5 cable, no Wifi. Pricey but... more
