We decided to begin our trip with a somewhat upscale hotel (for budget travellers) and chose this one because it had airconditioning. We asked for a quiet room and got that (at first). This hotel was pretty good. It had a guarded parking lot, good rooms, a swimming pool and big bathroom. Only a few minutes away from the centre and on the richt side of towm if you're heading to San Cristobal. We didn't like te town. People weren't nice to us because they thought we were American, we didn't experiece this... more
