We were in Ballybunion for a couple of nights on a golf junket and stayed at the 19th Lodge. It is a very nice place and the proprietors, Mary and James, were absolutely great. Very cordial and accomodating to our group of 12. It's quite convenient to the golf courses and I would highly recommend it as a place to... more

My son and I just completed a week long golf trip to SW Ireland which involved us bouncing from hotel to hotel. To our good fortune, the one location we had 3 nights was The 19th Lodge, where owners James & Mary provide a little taste of home. Their lodge has a small, cozy feel, a complimentary computer to stay... more

We have just left Ireland after spending 5 wonderful days of golfing and were lucky enough to have spend the last two days at the 19th Lodge. Mary and James not only have a warm wonderful home (yes that is what you feel like being home) but are gracious and so very accomodating. The breakfast was the most wonderful way... more

The 19th Lodge was outstanding...large, modern, well appointed rooms. James and Mary take excellent care of their guests in a luxurious, home-like atmosphere. I highly recommend The 19th Lodge! more

We first stayed at the 19th Lodge 5 years ago and will stay here on each and every stay in Ballybunion. The rooms are impeccable the service and hospitality par excellence and the food delicious. Mary and James Beasley do everything to make their home feel like your own. We do a lot of research prior to travelling and are... more

This was my second trip to Ireland so I have now stayed at 6 different properties and I can say without a doubt that the 19th Lodge is the best! The service is outstanding! Mary and James have put their life into this place... more

As part of an Ireland golf trip, my sons and I stayed at the 19th Lodge when we visited Ballybunion to play its magnificent course. Our rooms were spacious, modern, and very well-appointed. All three of our B&Bs in Ireland were very nice, but this one was the most comfortable. As its name implies, it's located a stone's throw from... more

In August we took a golf trip to Ireland. This was our second trip to Ballybunion and once again we were not disappointed. There was no question as to where we would stay. The 19th Lodge, again! The lodge is exceptional for cleanliness and comfort. Mary and James go out of their way to make sure guests are well taken... more

After being extremely disappointed in our accomodation in Dublin, we arrived at the 19th Lodge. Our first impressions were "wow". We were greeted by the wonderful Mary and James. Two of the most lovely Irish people we have met. After welcoming us we went to our rooms - which to our delight were more than 5 star accomodation. They were... more
