There are a lot of B&Bs in Bunratty, and we definitely do not regret our choice. I wasn't particularly feeling great when we got here, but the friendly, cheerful nature of our hosts and their children, definitely brought up my spirits. We stayed here 3 nights, and enjoyed it a lot. Their guest lounge has a tea/coffee, cookies, a computer,... more

We had an early flight out of Shannon - Avarest is extremely close and convenient and Deirdre was very accommodating to our early schedule. The B&B is beautiful, wish we could have stayed longer We had dinner in Bunratty at the Creamery - good food! -- BTW Google sent us the wrong way off the main road -- so ask... more

Spent 4 nights in this really great accommodation in Co. Clare. Very close to Shannon airport and easy drive to B&B. Requested a family room and same was very large. Lots of room for the kids and found house to be quiet and peaceful. Hostess and family very friendly and helpful. Assisted with day travel plans, best routes to take... more

Our entire stay at Avarest was wonderful - quiet, very clean, comfortable beds, warm and helpful owner, internet access (our teenage daughter was appreciative), reasonable rates, etc. I would not hesitate to recommend Avarest B&B to anyone. more

My friend and I just returned from a 6 day trip to Ireland. After reading the reviews on trip advisor we booked 6 nights at the Avarest b&b. Avarest is one of the best b&bs I have ever stayed at. The hosts Deirdre and Freddie are exceptionally kind, gracious, very friendly and helpful. We felt pampered and part of the... more

Cannot recommend this B&B enough. So clean and the rooms were very comfortable. Dierdre was charming and so helpful. Great and easy to find location, in between Bunratty and Ennis. Only about 10 minutes from Shannon Airport. Would stay there anytime I was in the area. more

This is a wonderful B&B located very close to Bunratty (great location to see the castle and close to Shannon Airport). It was the first B&B that my wife and I stayed in and we absolutely enjoyed it. The innkeeper (Deirdre) was very helpful in giving us directions to Bunratty and made a nice suggestion for us to eat at... more

We spent one night at Avarest, but would happily have spent more had time allowed. Deidre was, by far, the nicest & most helpful of our hosts during a six day visit to Ireland. She knew we were heading to Ballvaughan & Doolin next. She contacted the ferry for times and provided us with a map of the area. We... more

Modern, spotless, comfortable, run by a charming family. The kids were great. The little girl asked me where the other "boy" was, referring to my 68-year-old brother. The lounge was a perfect place to relax and chat. A computer was available in the lounge, equipped only with Windows 98, but it still allowed one to catch up on emails. Excellent... more

I booked a room at Avarest after reading reviews on tripadvisor...I have to tell you this was one of the best places we stayed. The place itself is beautiful and situated in one of the most picturesque towns in Ireland. The room was nice and clean...it's perfectly located if you are flying in or out of Shannon, it's just minutes... more
