What a lovely hotel--great location, friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast. We even received an upgrade to a suite--without asking for it! Would definitely come back again. Port Washington, NY more

Our stay on Mont St Michel was the big question mark in our France travels. There are limited choices for hotels on the Mont, and reviews seemed to be rather mixed, so we approached this part with some trepidation. Not to fear!! We had a lovely stay--our corner room in the main building was charming, and for something that old,... more
This hotel has a quaint, medieval look to it. We had booked a triple room for one night. It included a small room with a too soft double bed, a loft with two single beds, and a good sized bathroom. There was a tiny, steep ladder for accessing the loft. The room was clean and the bathroom worked well. Some of... more
Walking up the street at twilight was a wow, as was driving to the Island. The streets are 100% medieval The service was adequate the rooms are old and the toilets could have been lifted from a train. Compact and prefabricated. Looking out of the windows you feel you should be emptying a bucket of yuk out at night. Deliveries... more
Stayed at Auberge last week with my wife, teenage son and parents. We booked the family room a little further up the hill at Auberge's Les Logis du Chapeau Blanc (separate cluster of rooms). Two level family room with a fantastic view of the bay; facilities were adequate (not the reason you stay here). We had a simply magical night... more
Booked this for one night on April 30th. The hotel is clean, and comfortable. Our room was overlooking the street with the old fashioned lead glass windows. Very cute, although a little small. Due to the value, location, and quality I am giving this an excellent rating, although don't expect a resort type spa it is only a 3 star.... more
I found this hotel through the Logis de France network. Having previously stayed at another Logis de France hotel on this trip I wasn't expecting much. Having read other reviews about climbing stairs and hills up the mont we were prepared and were happily surprised to find the hotel was towards the bottom of the hill. Our room was up... more
booked online day before, easy chekin, room off busy street so quiet(Don't know about other rooms?)Room quite basic but very comfortable and spacious.Freindly and helpful staff.Breakfast slightly expensive but excellent and everything you could want in a french 'petit dejeuner'!Overall, perfect for one night, not 5*but very good.Family room we had would easily sleep 5(2 doubles 1 single)English spoken also. Finally,is quite nice to stay... more
After a bit of research, I requested a room at Les Logis du Chapeau Blanc, which is a small, unattended cluster of a few rooms further up the Mont. It's operated by Auberge Saint-Pierre but is really just a few unserviced rental rooms. It seems to be the highest, most remote and untouristed accommodation on the island. We absolutely loved... more
I'm so glad we stayed overnight on the mount! Auberge St. Pierre was our choice; perfectly situated so you can access the ramparts from the hotel hallway. Your hotel key gets you right back in, too. Our suite of rooms (considered a quad, and reasonably priced) was ideal. My husband and I had a double bed with private bath, and... more
