In Lofoten, every tourist want to stay in a "rorbu". We chose a decent hotel instead. Henningsvaer Bryggehotell is probably one of the more expensive places in Lofoten, but it's value for money. 1400 kr for a room that can sleep 4 people (we were only two...). The service is great and you also get excellent food in the restaurant... more

Stayed here as part of a package to go and see the Killer Whales in the fjords, and loved the place. Its a simple place, incredibly cosy (very important when its -25 degrees c outside!) and serves great local food. The rooms are fairly basic, but are comfortable. I slept very well, and the shower was was given a rating... more
