My wife and I stayed at the "4 star" Lisbon Marriott Hotel on the evening of October 4, 2008 as we wanted a property near to the Lisboa ("Lisbon") International Airport because we were flying out of Portugal on October 5, 2008. We selected the Lisbon Marriott Hotel because it was the highest ranked hotel on Tripadvisor of the few... more

We did not stay at the Lisbon Marriott but our concierge at the Praia D'El Rey Marriott Golf and Beach Resort contacted the concierge there and asked him to help us plan a full day of sightseeing in Lisbon. When we arrived in the morning the two doormen were very helpful and when they heard why we were there they... more

we have stayed at the 10th floor in a good size room with a very comfortable queen size bed (great duck feather pillows to die for). hot buffet breakfast was also great and very filling with a lot of variety (served from 7.30 to 11.30). we also liked the swimming pool. at the lobby we were giving excelent directions/recommendations to... more

We spent a lovely week in this hotel the best things were: The bedroom: the bed was wonderful, massive, and so comfy!!! The room was a good size, all that was missing was some tea and coffee making facilities. Swimming pool: not huge but just what you need at the end of a day walking around Lisbon Location: not central... more

Just returned from a long weekend to Lisbon. I really enjoyed my stay at Marriott. Like previous reviewers have said, its a good 10 min walk to the nearest metro,(Jardim Zoologica) but literally once your thier the world (or lisbon rather) is your oyster. Its takes about 7mins to get into 'downtown'. Thier is also a busstop right outside the... more

We just spent 5 days at the Lisbon Marriott--although the hotel is a bit out of the way of the older section of Lisbon, it's only a short and fairly inexpensive taxi ride. The staff at the hotel were all VERY helpful and attentive. We were on the executive level which was nice as we had access to the concierge... more

We stayed at this hotel in May as my partner was attending a conference, As I was the one not attending the confrence I found that while this is a very nice hotel, the downside is that it is too far from the centre of the city. It caters more for the business clientel and large tour groups. The upside... more

I stayed at the Lisbon Marriott Hotel for 5 nights as part of a business trip to Lisbon. Most of my time was spent at the Congress center or at the hotel. This hotel is your standard upper level Marriott property. It has the newer Marriott beds and in room amenities. The breakfast is worth the 10 Euro surcharge. Internet... more

Very good hotel, fabulous beds and excellent breakfast buffet. Not very close to the city centre but you can get here easily in a cab (and it's relatively cheap too). Overall a great stay. more

Great hotel, excellent standard. Great to have a pool in a city hotel - a real bonus. Downsides - a good 10 minute walk to nearest tube which is uphill on the return journey. Then a 10 minute tube ride to the centre of Lisbon. Surrounded by busy dual carraigeways. We stayed for 5 days last week and had planned... more
