We turned up here having tried at a few other local hotels, which were all over 100 euros a night. We just wanted something cheap with a car park in the area of Rotterdam/Vlaardingen, and this Ibis does the trick. It was good value, about 60 euros. I stayed here for business purposes during June 2008. The location and tariff were appealing but the experience can only be likened to dingy halls of residence. The room was modular with very little space to shimmy round the bed to the desk. The bathroom was pokey. Menu choices for a vegetarian were limited but praise to the chef for... more

This IBIS hotel has a very sloppy attitude to credit/debit cards or possibly is operating a credit card scam. Since paying with my debit card for an overnight stay at the hotel in August 2003, it has made repeated withdrawals from my account. The implausible explanation is that I have a common surname so I am charged for every British... more
