The hotel's right by the station but the rooms all face away from the tracks, so you get the short walk from your train without all-night noise. The hotel was functional and sparkling clean with a lovely view over the city and the mountains but a dull, depressing foyer and a cramped feel overall (horrid salmon pink walls too in the corridors)... no underground parking though. I have stayed in Cornavin hotel for 2 nights during September 2007.It"s a good hotel,great location,clean and spacy rooms,nice staff.The cold buffet breakfast was very poor.It has not places to spend some time,it"s only for sleeping.In conclusion if your travelling for profesional reasons,stay to this hotel,otherwise prefer to stay somewhere else! more
