We had a most enjoyable two nite stay at Ca San Giorgio. It is located within easy walking distance of the train station and is in a non-touristy area. From there ,all major attractions and good shopping can be easily reached. The rooms are quite charming and the staff was very anxious to make our Venice experience as memorable as possible.... more

This was such a magical and charming little hotel right next to a traghetto stop an dvery near a vaparetto stop. It was very convenient to the train station and most everything is very close by. Sylvia and Chiara were extremely helpful and welcoming...so much so that I decided to cut my stay short in Florence and came back to... more

This was a lovely place to stay, easily accessible on foot to the train station/Piazzale Roma which in Venice with all the maze of streets is a big plus! The hotel itself is very comfortable, rooms lovely and the breakfast ample, so you feel well rested and fed (not that that's ever a problem in Italy!) before you head out... more

Just returned from a lovely visit here with my 2 daughters. Its a beautiful place in a quiet part of Venice away from all the noise and touristy areas. we stayed in the top room, the "Altana" which has its own rooftop terrace. I highly recommend it. more

This was my sixth trip to Venice since 2000, and we have stayed at different hotels each time. We have finally found the hotel we will ABSOLUTELY book again. The locations is a fairly short walk from the train station with only two bridges to navigate if you have luggage. It is in a somewhat residential area which meant that... more

The mail contact with the staff before our arrival was very friendly. We arrived in the evening, but the directions that was given to us made it easy to find the place through the old town's maze of small streets. The location is great: It's not far from the train station, the main bus stop (Piazzale Roma) and the car... more

We stayed the better part of a week at the CSG. Hotel photos online faithfully reflect what is there. The hotel's directions make it easy to find. Getting in and out of the city can not get much easier. Time to the train station and buses is under fifteen minutes. Walk to a vaporetto stop is under five minutes. Walk... more

Everything about Ca' San Giorgio is wonderful: location, cleanliness, staff, breakfast, room interiors, hotel map, lighting . . . I could go on and on. The wonderful young owner of the hotel goes out of her way to make your stay amazing. We were delighted to be in such gorgeous rooms, with great views and in a quiet part of... more

We stayed in this hotel for three nights at the beginning of September. As soon as we arrived in Venice we found it a little bit difficult to find the Hotel because there are so many small windy streets and laneways around the place. After a while we just decided to get a water taxi - big mistake! It turned out... more

My husband and I stayed at the Ca San Giorgio for 4 nights in late December and could not recommend it enough. The rooms are just like they are portrayed on the website, it's very easy to find if you print out and follow the directions the website sends you and once you've walked the same path home for a... more
