Spent 3 nights here with our two teenaged children and had a lovely stay. We had the Falier Suite which was beautiful and our children had room 101 (!) which was next door. Very peaceful hotel a few steps from the Rialto bridge. Canal directly in front very convenient for either water taxi or gondola. Beautifully decorated rooms, air conditioning that actually works, and a great location in Cannareggio. Very close to Fiaschetteria Toscana and other non-touristy restaurants. This historic hotel is located in the heart of Venice. Considering it dates to the 1300s its a pretty amazing place. The breakfast was good, and the coffee was great. The breakfast room was bright and cheery with frescoes cieilings and walls. The Jurnior Suite was a disappointment as it is essentially a skinny room with a loft sleeping area.... more

We booked this hotel for 1 night in Venice and paid 75 Euros for a double w/breakfest. Great location, near the train station (which is important if you have ever been to Venice and been lost in about 2 seconds). The room was very nice, quiet (double pane windows), and AC. I definately would stay again and recommend. more
