Compared to other hotels I have stayed at in Venice, I think the Bellini was a great hotel for the value. We had a room on the 4th floor overlooking the canal. We stayed at this hotel as part of our Trafalgar tour. It is a small hotel that is in a great location on the isle of Venice. It is right next to the train station and a short walk to the bus station. As soon as they have finished the newest bridge, it will be a snap to get to.... more

We were booked into this hotel blindly through Hotwire, booking what was supposed to be a “4 star hotel” and a “good value.” Our experience proved to be neither and we learned our lesson about booking a European hotel through Hotwire – don’t! Having read some reviews that were not very encouraging, we needn't have worried. Our room was well appointed and very attractively decorated. Walls curtains and bedcover were all in matching material. Room was lit by beautiful glass wall lamps. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine, lots to choose from. We would stay there anytime. more
