I booked my reservation on www.booking.com; we paid 90 euro a night (which, for the convenience of the location compared to other places, was a steal). We arrived late on a Thursday night by car; it was a little difficult to find even though we were using GPS, but it's no fault to the hotel, some of the streets were... more

We stayed at Hotel Agnello D'Oro for one night after missing a train connection in Genoa. It was literally the first hotel we found with availability after leaving the train station at midnight. It was maybe a 5 minute walk from the train station. We were relieved to get a bed and a shower. If it were not an emergency... more

I was there for 2 nights since I was taking an exam in my nearby university. The hotel was extremely expensive but our room was revolting, breakfast was very poor and the whole hotel looked ugly and very tired. TO BE AVOIDED!! more

Great location just a 2-3 minutes walk from the station. Even at night, in unfamiliar territory we felt safe. We got in late and were greeted by a very friendly desk clerk with excellent English. We confirmed breakfast and realized we could not have breakfast since we would be catching an early train out in the morning. More on that... more

This is a great hotel. Only a couple of minutes from Principe railway station and very close to the city centre yet also very quiet. We were in room 19 and didn't hear a sound from other rooms or from outside at all. The staff spoke good english and were friendly. The room is lovely and cool, with air con... more

The Hotel Agnello d'Oro in Genoa is a pleasant and quiet hotel with reasonable rates and a staff that speaks English well. We stayed for 6 days recently and would not hesitate to recommend it. The room was small and spartan, but it was clean and quiet (room 32 not facing street). The sheets and towels were crisp and good... more

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We were there during the international boat show and rooms were very scarce!! We decided to stay here, even though we had reservations about it, but it was fine. It is not a plush hotel, by any means, but is fine for a short stay and only a block from the train station!!... more

Spent two nights at the Ad'O last weekend. Hotel as clean and comfy as last year, staff helpful when our suitcase was picked up by mistake by someone else at the airport [beware - passport control at Genova is VERY slow and I would think this sort of thing happens all the time - people get uptight at having to... more

We were just transiting Genoa and this hotel was perfect for us. We flew in at night and then were going to take the train to Monterosso in the morning. After arriving at the airport, we took Bus 100 to the main train station. This hotel was only a couple of minutes walk from there. Check-in was friendly and efficient.... more

I'll try not to repeat what other people have said about this town house boutique hotel. Apart from confirming that it is ultra convenient to Genova Principe station (and the terminus for the airport bus). It's not fancy, just a down-to-earth place to stay for a few days city break at reasonable cost. It was really nice to find two... more
