The Mariott in Berlin is in a great central location in Berlin just a stone throw away from Potsdamer Platz. With a lot of competition of near by 5* hotels, this one falls short of the competition being rather a standard 5* with standard service. more

The Marriott Berlin is indeed a nice and very well located hotel. All the sights (Potsdamer Platz, Brandenburg gate and subway) are very close. The rooms are mid-size, but ok, nicely appointed and in very well shape (bathroom was spotless). Bar and restaurant are cozy, well kept and serve good food and beverages. Just on the site of the former Wall, this Hotel is a perfect jumping off point for everything to see and do in Berlin. Starbucks on block, train on corner. Awesome location, beautiful hotel, great value. A must stay for the casual traveller to amazing Berlin. Stay on the executive level and enjoy the executive lounge's great views and many amenities. On site parking is extremely convenient but a bit pricey. All in all a great hotel. more
