The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the main train station AWAY from the town center. We found it best to walk along the road next to the train station, Bayerstrasse, until you see a pedestrian bridge crossing the road. At that point, you want to veer left up an incline and along a small street, Theriesienhohe, which... more

While relatively clean and well-staffed, this property is not very central and in desperate need of a facelift. It's a 30 minute hike from the Hauptbahnhof (central train station) and a 5 minute walk from the nearest U-Bahn stop. I stay in Starwood properties (i.e. Four Points, Sheraton, Westin) all the time and have gold level status in their Preferred... more

My room was quite large and came with free internet/mini bar but it was quite dirty. My white curtains in my room were the color grey from the dirt. There is no AC but they supply you fans. I found it not central to anything and it needs a definate remodel. The room is outdated, worn out and dirty. more

Located only a few minutes walk from the Oktoberfest grounds, this hotel's location can't be beat. You can have a hot breakfast, get to the tents when they open and be assured of getting a seat even without a reservation. After downing a liter or two, saunter back to your room for a nap. After a rest, it's only minutes... more

First off I have to say that the selection of this hotel was perfect for purposed of visiting Oktoberfest in Munich. Quite literally you walk out the front door, down a short walk to the end of the street, cross the street, and you are at the entrace to the Theresienwiese grounds. Better yet, reverse that walk after your day... more

I think i could only recommend this hotel if your were there for octoberfest. We arrived after 30 hours up straight an was greeted by the a nice front desk clerk. We were promply given a room with someone elses stuff in it. so we had to drag all of our stuff back down to checkin to get another room.... more

I travel every week worldwide on business and offer a fair evaluation of this hotel. I do not work for this hotel or chain. The staff is outstanding. They speak fluent english and are very helpful. The breakfast is good with a wide assortment of "German" cereals, eggs, fruit, bread, and drinks. The location is within walking distance of the... more

My family and I spent 3 nights here in April 2007 and just loved it. The front desk staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. The room were big, clean and modern. The beds were so comfortable and the pillows were hude with feather down. It is located about a 10 minute walk from the main train station and... more

We stayed here only one night but would stay here again and again if we went back to Munich. We were upgraded for free to a junior suite. I have not stayed in an American Hotel with this much room. We had a large TV, a sitting area, huge closets, whole wall window, and the largest bathroom I have ever... more

A good place to stay for a visit to Munich. Hotel is within a resonable walking distance of two train stations (5 min to Hackerbruke, 15min to the Main Station). Can be difficult to find on foot the first time if you are not used to the area, be sure to have good directions. It is also not very far... more
