We chose this hotel based on reviews on this site and we were not disappointed, this is a great hotel. The hotel is on Rue du Mont Thabor a little side street parallel (one down) with Rue Saint Honore which has some lovely designer shops and also useful shops like a chemist, an off licence ,etc. If you are looking... more

This review is long overdue and almost have forgotten to write it. The hotel is greatly located, with trendy reception and modern rooms. We were given a room on the top floor overlooking the courtyard, so at least had some sun as the lower floors did not have any. Although the price was quite high the room was small (less... more

This review is long overdue. I took my wife to Paris for her 40th birthday. This hotel was just perfect. It is in a great location in Paris. The rooms were decent size and very clean. The front desk was very helpful and always gave us directions and recommendations on what to see, etc. I would highly recommend this hotel... more

We had originally booked the Westin for our trip as we were attending a family wedding that was taking place there. After reading the terrible reports on this site for the Westin we decided to look for another hotel in the immediate vicinity. We found the Renaissance was just round the corner. Boy were we lucky to had changed hotels.... more

This was a very interesting hotel, as it resides on a small side street just around the corner from The Hotel Ritz and the Tulleries. The front desk personnel were fabulous, knowledgable of the area and exstemely professional. From here a must to visit - a short walk to The New York Harry's Bar whare for bourbon drinkers, they have... more

Have been to Paris twice before, this was the best hotel / best visit... Location initially slightly daunting, a small one-way street one block north of the Jardins du Tuileries, looked "deserted" the first day, felt "cozy" by the end of the week . Between rue de Rivoli and Rue St. Honore, 2 blocks from the Metro, about 4 from... more

We were going to Paris for both business and pleasure - I had originally booked us at the Westin Paris as I work for the federal government and can get special rates. After reading all of the negative comments, I switched to this hotel and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made! About a week prior... more

'Stayed at this hotel because of location and service combination. Rooms are well kept, clean, modern, and comfortable. Location is perfect, close to food, culture, transportation and services. Staff is always helpfull and try their best to satisfy any request, from sending me to an English speaking pharmacy to translating in paper food requests. My only complaint is the showers,... more

My teenage daughter and I stayed here for a few days over Easter 2008. Like others, we booked using Marriott points - this is a highly rated hotel and would otherwise have been extremely expensive! The location is excellent, near to the Rue St Honore and the Tuileries area, close proximity to the top notch shops (Chopard, Cartier, Dior etc)... more

We stayed here in April of 2007 and absolutely loved it. Rooms are a little small HOWEVER you should rarely be in your room, right? Beds are heavenly, we did sleep in a lot because of this. I still use the Bulgari lotion they had in the room (reminds me of Paris now). This hotel is close to the Louvre... more
