I have been staying at this hotel almost every other week for the last 4 months and now it's time to find somewhere else. I am now embarassed that I need to complain everytime about the quality of food and the level of service in the restaurant. My most recent experience was a 45 minute wait for a bowl of... more

We booked this hotel for two nights last May as we were going to a game fair not too far away and had a voucher to use as well, as we'd recently got engaged. Thought it would be nice to combine the two. When we arrived we checked in, handed over a VIP card we were given with the voucher... more

Bad. Not even an hotel. Terrible food. Frozen bread with meal. Overpriced. Untrained staff. Lipstick on three out of four glasses with meal. Overpriced breakfast. Unpleasant bar. This place had absolutely NO character. Being that sort of place it seems to attract the labeled masses. People whose corporate employers have sent to this establishment, presumably with a view to their... more

As with most Marriott brand hotel you get exactly what is promised. The booking process was quick and easy via the web and the Hotel stay was pleasant and without any major problems. At check in they gave us a 2nd floor room (we asked for a grond floor), when I stated this they said it was only 1 floor... more

As I had a Palmersport trackday at Bedford aerodrome I decided to stay for 2 nights nearby. Booked the suite with the jacuzzi bath which was superb, if a little adult film orientated. The room was large and clean but that's about the only positive. The hotel is clearly dated and in need of a refit. The pool area was... more

Me and my boyfriend stayed there on a Saturday night as part of a romantic weekend away. We were checked in and found our room. Nice and clean with a comfy bed and our window looked out on to a patch of grass with dozens of rabbits running around. We took advantage of room service and place our order for... more

I was always under the impression that Marriott hotels were very good quality hotels, well I dont think they are after my stay at Northampton! The members of staff looked very tired and didn't seem to know what they were doing! I was given a standard room (thats very over rated, more like economy!) The wallpaper was coming off the... more

We were visiting for a rugby match, then got to thinking that a stay over would be a treat. That combined with a birthday & seeing an upgrade to a premier room with escape dinner package available - thought decision made! If coming through on the M1 hotel will be very easy to find, us coming from across town got... more

I haven't stayed in a "chain" hotel in ages, so was fearing the worst from the Northampton Marriott. However, I am glad to say it surpassed all of my expectations. The people who work here clearly care about providing a good service and generally doing a good job. The hotel, whilst not the height of cutting-edge fashion, is really comfortable... more
