impromptu stay in Cheltenham found us at the Holiday Inn after nearby Premier Inn was booked and didnt offer Breakfast. The hotel is brand new and very modern with a nice bar area and large outside enclosed terrace. Check in was efficient and our room was ready at 11:30am. The hotel did seem very quiet though. Located just five mins from the city centre this is a new addition to the Holiday Inn Express chain. New airy bedrooms with plasma tv, functional bathroom, large shower, a good choice for a night or two. Internet access available in room but you need a cable from reception.
