Hotel is located within easy walking distance of all major Old Montreal attractions. Easy parking across street. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were exceptionally clean, quiet, and roomy. Breakfast included at connected restaurant. Food (had two breakfasts and one dinner there) was simply delightful. We are "foodies" and know the difference. Quality was superb; prices were reasonable; wait... more

My wife and I spent two nights at the Auberge Bonaparte and were delighted with the accommodations and service. We enjoyed a queen bedded room on the second floor front ( as requested ) with whirlpool tub and shower. Everything was as clean as it could be and we were not disturbed by any street noise as others have reported.... more

If you are thinking of staying here be sure to ask for a room away from the street. The noise is absolutely staggering; it will keep you awake until 1 or 2 a.m. Our room was a large corner room; it was o.k. but not as great as the reviews made this place out to be. We just felt there... more

We stayed at the Auberge Bonaparte for one night before our cruise ship departure. Everything was great. We had a room on the 5th floor facing the street. But heard nothing from traffic or people below or from the adjoining rooms. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in the center of the old town section of Montreal... more

We stayed here for 2 nights in June and just loved it! The location is great, right in the centre of old montreal, and close to some really great restaurants (Casa Mateo - mexican, Stash Cafe - polish, and of course, Bonapartes). We ate at Bonapartes one evening, and it was excellent - amazing food, and great service, and although... more

There is nothing negative I can write, only many positives - very clean, excellent location in Old Montreal, very friendly and helpful staff, wonderful breakfast. We had the room with a balcony which was an added bonus. The only thing I regret is not eating in the hotel restaurant (which I am sure would have been as good as the... more

We stayed at the Bonaparte as our first stop on our cross Canada trip a few weeks ago and after a 6 hour flight we received a great welcome. The room was comfortable and the jacuzzi in the bathroom felt very luxurious ! Our room looked onto the gardens at the back of the Basilique Notre-Dame and it was less... more

First time traveling to Montreal, and we did it in Feb. never again, way to cold. We arrived really early at the Hotel Bonaparte, our room was not ready, but the front desk guy was nice enough to put us in a better room so we could sleep for a bit and then get breakfast. The breakfast here is great,... more

In the times that I have visited Montreal, the times I've stayed at the Auberge Bonaparte have been the absolute best. It is located near the Palais des Congres and in the heart of Vieux Montreal. Its costs are quite reasonable compared to the large chain hotels, and it is by far the best hotel that I or my colleagues... more

My husband and I stayed one night for our 20th anniversary. There were no surprises based on all the feedback on this site. Our room was on the third floor with a view of the courtyard. I asked for this in hopes of a quiet room based on others comments, and it was. The room was very clean, with a... more
