Picked this hotel because of three factors: 1) Supposedly .4 miles from everything 2) Boasted how it is BRAND NEW 3) Very reasonable rate. I am very picky when it comes to hotels, and I was very impressed by this one. The room felt very clean, which is really important to me. Had the Jacuzzi Suite last summer. Beatifully decorated new hotel. I here this year they are adding a swimming pool. Parked right across the street from the Casino Shuttle, so it's a 3 min ride to clifton hill, free. Continental breakfast is a bonus. For the price it can't be beat. Stayed there 2 nights (12-13 July 2004). The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean. You can't beat the price and the Continental breakfast is also included. The underground parking is a little tight going in and out (not made for a full size vehicle). Overall a very good experience. We would definitely stay there again. more
