Have stayed here numerous times. Always above average. Rooms are clean and spacious. Pool is great. Atrium restaurants are excellent as is the food quality. Centrally located. Definitely recommended. more

Stayed for 2 nights from 27/6-29/6, booked on a corporate rate. Room size quite good, with connecting rooms. Room facilities are getting old. Bathrooms are quite small, with low water pressure (seems to be perannial problem with most Canadian hotels). Aircon is not powerful enough for the room, had to open windows for ventiliation. Wireless internet doesn't work in rooms... more

I just came back from a Tue-Sat stay at this property. I agree with much of the May 27/05 critique from a Victoria poster. The good - Very centrally located downtown hotel. - Tim Hortons, 7-11, Boston Pizza are all very handy. - I had a delicious pasta special along with a tasty apple pie at the Pasta Garden Restaurant... more

We stayed 3 nights in June, in a King Suite on the second floor. The room was excellent, with a large comfortable lounge and separate bedroom. It also had a large balcony over looking the very impressive indoor tropical gardens and water features. My only complaint about this is that because the room has no outside windows there is very... more

I stayed for 2nights at the vernon lodge in June 2006, I enjoyed the hotel. The rooms were very large and included tv with movies, music, and video games. The Tropical atrium has the pool, hot tub, and the restaurant. There was a mix up in that I was staying for 2 nights rather than one but that was resolved... more

We were just exploring B.C. with no fixed plan- just tooling around and came across this awesome hotel. It looks like nothing on the outside. Barren parking lot with a beer and wine store (handy but not so picturesque). The feel quicklly changed when we got inside. Helpful staff showed us the different room options. We ended up with the... more

We stayed in this motel for three nights as a first port of call on a 11 day driving tour around the Canadian Rockies. Unfortunately, we got a ground floor room with no external window. The room was like a dungeon, the only window we had opened on to the central atrium which housed the restaurant and swimming pool. As... more

We stayed for two nights so as to break up the run to Jasper. Vernon situated in the wine district and by the Okanagen lake. The hotel was of very good standard and the rooms were very clean and spacious. We used the pool a lot in the afternoon. The internal garden was central to the ambience of the relaxing... more

We were in Vernon for the Performing Arts Festival and chose this hotel due to it's great location close to the performing arts venues... It's a very centrally located hotel in "downtown" Vernon! Some things we really liked about the hotel: - Location - right accross from Tim Hortons, and very close to 7-11, Dairy Queen, Boston Pizza and other... more

We don't usually stay in chain hotels when we're on vacation, but were midway between Canadian Rockies & Vancouver when we started looking for a place to stop. Picked this one because it was only lodging in Vernon that our guide book said had a pub! We were surprised how many people were staying there, it was almost fully booked... more
