I have stayed at Amaranto a number of times over the years, but have to agree with the negative reviews--the place has gone down hill terribly. BUGS will eat you alive at night. Very HOT with no air conditioning. Owner is uncooperative and won't answer phone calls and is never on the property. Would have rather stayed at home in Texas. Roosters crowing and dogs barking continuously. more
