This place is great for the price. Rooms are simple and clean good A/C fridge in room, nice balcony with a view, staff is very nice, food is good, the beach is really nice although it is a bit of a trek to get there, you can jump on the banana bus that will take you every 15 minutes or... more

If you want to spend some time with Mexican families go to the Bananas Every family that was there had 3 to 4 kids, I counted as high as 32 kids in the pool at once, (some in dirty diapers) and at the buffet the kids do not use the utensils to get food they used their hands to put... more

We enjoyed our 5 day stay at the Hotel Club Bananas. The elevators do work! Rooms are quite large and decently equipped although there are no refrigerators! This is a family hotel where the vast majority of guests are working class and midle class Mexicans with lots of kids and a need to have an economical vacation. This gives the... more

Considering This was a 2.5 Star resort. I was pleasantly surprised. They always had cold beer, and good drinks. The food was good considering. I was travelling with my sister and parents. (My sister being the worst eater on the planet) She always had good thigns to eat. Reccommended for picky eaters. Lots of americanized food and mexican food to... more

We had never been to Mexico before and had always heard how beautiful it was there. We were very excited to be going and staying at an All-Inclusive resort. I must admit everything seems to look pretty from a distance, then you get up close and realize how dirty everything is. Upon arrival, we immediately wanted to leave. When we... more

The resort is geared toward Mexicans from Mexican city so you get a bit of a cultural experience staying here. It is not off the beach so one gets a ride to the beach (which by the way is one of the worst that I have been too--too much gasoline at the water edges and it is too crowded). The... more

I just returned from staying at Club Bananas in Acapulco and I must say although brochures rate this hotel at 2-1/2 or 3 stars, the hotel is more of a 4 star. Accomodations are well above average, rooms are very large and comfortable and maids maintain them very clean, the food is wonderful, and I'm a picky eater! I've stayed... more

I have stayed at Bananas 5 times. I have had a wonderful time each stay. I found all the people (except a few) to be very friendly and helpful just plain nice people. It has been 3 years put I hope to return this year. They had what I think was the best bartender in the world. Great guy, family... more
