This hotel was as nice as it shows on its web page. The pool was great and the food in the hotel restaurants was top of the line. The hotel has three pools and two of them are restricted for adult’s swimming only. This is nice and not a problem for the kids since the kiddy pool is big enough... more

We stayed here for a fortnight when the hotel was the Hyatt Continental. This was our first long-haul holiday and as we had only ever been to places such as Spain, Canaries etc. we totally overwhelmed with the beauty of Acapulco Bay. The Hyatt at that time was a large three-star hotel and our room was comfortable and spacious with... more

This hotel is grand. The spa is amazing and the restaurant food was also delicious and not over priced. This hotel has everything you need. I had a kitchenette so I was able to bring left-overs home and warm them up the next day in the microwave. The grounds are really well kept, they've got really cute parrots, turtles. The... more

This has been our fifth trip to Acapulco over the last 10 years. We stayed in this hotel a few years ago (when it was called Continental) and, as we like the location, we decided to try it again. We were 4 adults and 2 children, so we had one room with king size bed and one room with two... more

2 adults and 2 kids (6 and 10). we were planning to let the kids to the "kids club" but this is suitable for childs up to 5. all club activities are inside, nothing into the the swiming pool or on the beach. the hotel is on Condesa beach which is not suitable for kids due to the waves quiet... more

We stayed at the horrible Copacabana Hotel for the first 2 nights and couldn't get out of there fast enough. The Emporio is located at the centre of tourist area in Acapulco with the Diana Shopping Centre across the street. The hotel was clean and modern, white marble tailed lobby and 3 great pools (2 for adults and one with... more

Traveled with family to Acapulco and stayed at the Emporio. The hotel is about a 20 minute drive from the airport and I would recommend setting up some type of driving service in advance. The airport seemed very willing to help you get a cab but there were a lot of people competing for them. I don't know about you... more

Amazing scenic drive fom Mexico city took us to the Emporio in Acapulco. Arriving in the evening, the strip on which the hotel is located is your usual mayhem, but once inside that seems far away. We did not do all-inclusive but found the a la carte very reasonably priced and quite acceptable: they obviously try and generally succeed. Shame... more

We just returned a couple of days ago from 3 nights at the Emporio Acapulco. First thing, when arriving at Acapulco airport, don't sucker for the cab / return cab / entertainment / breakfast what-not that is offered by people there at the airport. It is a time-share ploy by the Mayan Plaza something or other, and they want to... more

I visited the Emporio last spring with a group of my friends. I would have to say the service was the best that I have every seen, because the waiter “David” making sure that we had everything that we could possibly need. All inclusive was great too. We never left our beach hut all week because the food/drinks were awesome.... more
