CocoLaPalm was a good value. My girlfriend and I stayed in a "Deluxe" room, which contained a king-size bed, bathroom with large shower, tv, safe, frig (no minibar), and AC for around $90/night. As some reviewers noted, there were tiny ants here and there, but nothing to worry about. Overall the room wasn't great, but was fine. The best thing... more

This was first time to travelling directly to another country and it was different than cruising. Anyway, The Cocolapalm was clean and the front desk, Jackson was pleasant. We didn't have any problems checking in. Actually my packet with key was available upon arrival. The room (standard) was clean and efficient. It smelled fresh everyday we were there and the... more

Just wanted to write a quick note about our trip to CocoLaPalm... Let me start by saying that ALL the people we met at the resort were very helpful and very nice..This made our stay there very relaxed...just what we were looking for... The food at the restaurant, and beach bar was good...maybe a bit expensive for the area but... more

This resort was the absolute WORST place I could have ever stayed at. I eat at the resort one time and that was one time to many. I ended up eating everywhere else but the resort for the rest of the week. The rooms were old, had no properly working water and the toilet ran. The air conditioner dripped alot... more

We stayed at the Coco LaPalm Resort and had a FABULOUS time! There were 12 of us there escaping the cold Wisconsin weather. We had six adults, two college, two teens and two elementary in our group and every single one of us had a wonderful time. We chose to pay for a private transfer from the airport and were... more

WOW I went to Jamaica with two co-workers and we were debating where to staty for a week or two before we booked. After reading some reviews here and comparing prices we finally ddecided Coco La Palm would be our choice. And what a good one. The staff was amazingly friendly and willing to help us with any need. Chester,... more

First trip to Jamaica and it couldn't have better. Everything from the location to the cleanliness was absolutely perfect. All but just a few rooms(the 800 #'s) are very nice. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are really good and only cost $5.00 for 2 after applying the complimentary breakfast coupon. There are many other... more

To reiterate many previous postings, the beach at Cocolapalm is outstanding! The water is perfectly clear (no rocks or seaweed at all) and calm; the sand is so soft it's like walking on velvet; the beach is never too crowded (and there were always plenty of lounge chairs); and because the location is so centralized, there's plenty of food, drinks,... more

We stayed at Coco from December 19th to the 24th. We spent out first 2 nights in Suite B (2 Bedroom) and the other 3 nights in Suite A (3 Bedroom). Since there were 5 adults, Mom & Dad with son 21, daughter 20 and her boyfriend 20 we needed a place we could stay together. This arrangement worked out... more

We've been visiting Negril for 30 years, the last eight we've always stayed at COCO LA PALM. But we are having second thoughts about going back due to a really obnoxious group of guests and their kids who return every year at the Christmas break. This group seems to think nothing of letting their kids run all over the property... more
