We took the train from Roma St. station direct to Beerwah($8.40 per person/each way) where the zoo's free bus met the train and took us on the few miles to the park. At least the bus was free...as others reviews have noted it's $52 per adult to get in. Ouch! That's why I give it only and "above average" rating.... more

Every aspect of this top-notch zoo is first rate. The grounds are beautiful and sparkling clean. All of the staff members are very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. This zoo has many shows arranged. Steve Irvin is a hero in all respects! His wife and kids are following thier footsteps! It was a wonderful visit. All animals are well kept.
