Visited in March, 2008. Very interesting historical location, a few monuments, and a lot of wildlife. Skip the introductory movie: it's a little dated and redundant with the displays in the visitor center and the audio tour. My husband and I only had a couple of hours to spend here. We arrived at 8:00am on a crisp Sunday morning on October 14, 2007. We only had time to do the auto tour and explore the visitor center museum. This place is so moving. You have to come early when it is cool and the mist is rising.... more
