We were unable to get tickets to Independence Hall, but we felt like we hadn’t missed anything after our visit to Congress Hall. There was no wait and we had a fantastic tour guide – we could have listened to him for hours. There is so much history in this building. It was the capitol of our country from 1790-1800;... more

Congress Hall inspires and delights. You can almost hear the gavel sound and the mingled conversations. The alcove where the port was shared and even the sand bucket for spitting remind you of what our forefathers were experiencing as they forged a new nation. You can feel the presence of GW as he insists the new president John Adams lead... more
