The Memorial is easily located on RT460 behind the Bedford Visitors Center and beautifully situated on a hill. I visited 2/08 on a very cold day. One of the unique features (I was told) is the fountain and use of water to represent landing on the beaches under fire. Unfortunately, they have to drain the water during the winter months... more
