“Good Place for a Rainy Day”

While vacationing in Pittsburgh, I took the family to the history museum on a rainy, Sunday afternoon. It was an excellent value for the money. The exhibits were well done and interesting. There are several floors, so it takes a few hours to see the entire museum. This is worth the trip if you are visiting Pittsburgh. more

I didn't visit the entire museum; I only visited the sports museum located inside the center. It takes up two floors and is filled with memorabilia from all sports, including bocce and track. I went with the intention of scoping out Dan Marino stuff and found a few neat items he donated. I'm not a Pittsburgh sports fan, but enjoyed... more

The Regional History Centre is great place to learn about Western Pennsylvania's history, while also escaping the intense humidity. The Museum contains many exibits including: a sports exibit, Heinz Ketchup, Regional Antiques and Culture, Western Pennsylvania's developent since the beginning of America, and much more.
