We really enjoyed visiting the historic home of Robert Harrill-the "Fort Fisher Hermit". Although he's been gone for a number of years, his home--a WWII bunker is still there on the salt marsh near Fort Fisher. He was the top tourist attraction in that area for many years. His story is very interesting, and his "mysterious" death even more so.... more
