Had my travel trailer and stayed here 3 nights while waiting for dear wife to join me. Campground was more for a transcient crowd than campers,but people were pleasant.. Some construction workers,etc. in the area staying ther,also quite a few older trailers for permanent residents. Park clean enough,but crowded. My wife and I went to Holiday Park after a cruise. The airboat ride interesting. The driver seemed entusiastic, but rehearsed. He requested a tip after the ride and I gave him one. Holiday Everglades Park is run down, a dump... the toilets are filthy. We took the one hour "guided" airboat ride in Jan 2008. We saw 2 alligators. We had an absolutely fabulous time at the Park. I can highly recommend going there, we had a truly amazing experience. We took the trip on the airboat and we had a local resident as the captain.
