This is a very cool zoo. I could've spent the entire day watching the orangutan family. There's a toddler who is constantly playing with its mom. The rainforest area was incredible. Spend half a day here and half a day at the Desert Botanical Garden nearby. more

Unlike many City zoos, this zoo is located away from skyscrapers and cars. Though this zoo is smaller than the Denver Zoo, it is very open and doesn't give a feeling of encagement. The entrance was beautiful. The weather can get very hot, I would recommend bringing your own water. The fountain water in the zoo tastes disgusting. more
