This place is heavenly. My bf and I went in 2005 because we got sick of making our way down the East coast and seeing nothing but overpriced, overtravelled beach towns with drunken 19 year old holiday goers. THis place was the opposite of that. The day hikes, the cave paintings, the wildlife...everything about this place is spectacular! more

Carnarvon Gorge, a heavenly oasis in an otherwise dry and dusty Western Queensland.
