Muckross House, and its surrounding gardens, are actually more spectacular from the outside. Took the tour of Muckross House while visiting Killarney and it was excellent. The house itself is very well preserved and the guided tour was very interesting and at €5.75 per adult was great value. The grounds are magnificent and well worth a look at. more

If you get the chance and are in the area it is worth seeing. I recommend the guided tour. Unfortunatly we were there to early to see the farm, it was not open yet. It is a very nice place just to walk around and stretch your legs for a bit. Teri from Florida USA more

We walked around the interior of the house, with NO GROUP GUIDES whoopeeee!!!..(sometimes I get a bit fed up of having to take in too much info to be honest)...
