The tour was very informative and interesting, but we were the last group of the day, and many of us felt like we were being rushed out. So, I do recommend it, but go early rather than late. Enjoy! more

Kilmainham Gaol was a great stop. The tour was very interesting. We had a difficult time finding it... it was a much longer walk than we expected. It was worth it, though. The whole concept of "reform through architecture" was especially interesting. more

First visit to Dublin we decided to see Kilmainham Goal. The entrance fees were very fair and the tour gude was a joy to listen to. Tour gives an overview in emotive terms, the modern history of Ireland. Having studied modern Irish histroy, found the tour guide knowledgable. Got through tour, without insighting any kind of anti colonial feeling, which is challenging given the subject. An essential for visiting ireland, whether interested or not in Irish history. more

Having read the excellent reviews on the Kilmainham Gaol, I was looking forward to the visit and believe me it didn't disappoint.
